Jack the Ripper Tour Reviews:
Thousands of Travelers, One Unforgettable Night
Real stories from travelers who experienced London's darkest mystery.
The tour was amazing and Jude explained it amazingly. Definitely worth the money if you ask me! It was a lovely small group and the atmosphere was comfortable, even though it was murder talk.
Guillermo was a very enthusiastic and passionate guide for the Jack the Ripper tour. We enjoyed learning about old East London and the events of Jack the Ripper.
Maya was a joy. Thorough but efficient tour with great context to the Jack The Ripper story!
Went on a Jack the Ripper tour with Maya as our tour guide. She's full of information about the area, not just about Ripper and the victims but Whitechapel as well. We got to see parts of Banglatown, and tons of potential shopping and restaurants to visit.
Jolly good time hearing about disgraceful murders of 1888. Dion was a star
A fascinating tour of Whitechapel and learning all about Jack the Ripper but more importantly about the victims and their lives and the conditions in which they lived. Denise was so knowledgeable and really shared for enthusiasm. Would highly recommend this excellent walking your.
Becky was delightful! Our group was extremely small, so we were able to have lots of interaction. She was fun and knowledgeable!!
Our tour guide Becky was so knowledgeable and helpful. Half the tour group was running behind to the meeting point and she still took the time to make sure our experience was still wonderful and continued that great experience throughout the entire tour.
Maya our tour guide was great! Time well spent on a very interesting historical event.
I really enjoyed this tour. Maya was very knowledgeable! I knew nothing about Jack the Ripper. I learned more than I wanted to know . . Overall very great and informative. I will be booking with them again.
Our tour was very enjoyable. Our guide Maya was friendly, entertaining and informative. She was also very respectful of the fact that the story of Jack the Ripper is horrific and his victims are still deserving of our respect. I have read a lot about Jack the Ripper but I still learned a few new facts today. 10/10 would recommend!
Dion was our tour guide on a Thursday evening. She was lovely and had excellent local knowledge along with knowledge of the ripper case and his victims. She showed respect but also had an engaging manner.
Awesome experience! Guillermo was our tour guide and did an amazing job!
Outstanding tour and a great way to see the east end. We were looking for a way to see more of London’s history that was a bit outside the box and this tour absolutely delivered. Our tour guide Jude was a brilliant storyteller with so much knowledge and a clear passion for history. I’m a bit fussy with tours as I get bored if it’s really slow paced or dry but this was done through the lens of telling the story of Jack the Ripper, getting a feel for Whitechapel in the 1880s and showing respect for the victims. I also like that it wasn’t too theatrical or cringey and it didn’t matter if you knew a little or a lot about Jack the Ripper. Highly recommend the tour and Jude!
We joined a Jack the Ripper tour and found it incredibly interesting. Our guide, Dion, was absolutely fantastic: engaging, knowledgeable, and a great storyteller. The tour offered a deep dive into the lives of the victims, focusing on who they were and what happened to them, which made the experience much more personal and impactful. In addition, we explored the different theories and possible suspects, adding another layer of intrigue.
Really knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide (Guillermo), loved walking through the streets of Whitechapel and hearing the history!
It was a new and fun way of telling the story of the “ripper’s” victims and not the mysterious man.
An amazing, and informative experience that captivated our attention the whole time. Tour guide Denise was amazing as well – so friendly and knowledgeable about the tour. Overall, an incredible way to learn about the victims of Jack the Ripper and the mysterious dilemma of his identity was a thrilling aspect.
Guillermo was a great tour guide, loved the tour!
An amazing tour by a great guide, Dion! Lively and great storytelling. Worth the two hours. And recommend.
Dion was The Bomb!
Tomi was our tour guide, he was super friendly, with great knowledge and interesting facts. Would highly recommend this your with Tomi, we had a great time, really enjoyable.
Fantastic tour, given by Becky, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. Recommended.
Having the guide act and speak passionately, but still respectfully, throughout the tour really helped creating an immersive atmosphere and diving more deeply into the Ripper's victims' backgrounds.
Our tour guide Becky was amazing, the tour was very informative, 2 hours long, showed us all places and told us a lot of interesting facts too! I would highly recommend this tour, so worth the price!!! Thank you for the experience!
Thus far, we have done 4 tours in London and this was my favourite! Our guide Becky was fun, extremely knowledgeable and engaging. She was easy to understand and kept us all to a good pace. Her theatre background likely aided the air of mystery…
Had an amazing tour with Maya! Very interesting, very fun, she clearly knows and likes the subject and went above and beyond 🙂 thank you again!
We had an absolutely fantastic Jack the Ripper tour in London! Philip was an amazing guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and a wonderful storyteller. He truly brought the story to life and made us feel completely immersed in the mystery of Victorian London. Throughout the tour, we followed the clues, explored the different theories, and together tried to uncover the answer to the ultimate question: who was Jack the Ripper? Philip made the whole experience fascinating, interactive, and so much fun. It was definitely one of the highlights of our time in London. Highly recommended!
Sandra was a fountain of knowledge on Jack the Ripper! She also has a calm and friendly presence and made everybody feel equally welcome. I would happily recommend her tour groups to friends in London.
Great experience. Learned tons, and I think I know who the Ripper is!
We really enjoyed the Jack the Ripper tour run by Becky. Her knowledge about the famous mystery, architecture and history of the area left us wanting to learn more. Big thanks again!
This was a wonderfully led tour. Again like the Jack the Ripper added knowledge of the treaties chest of tid bits of her own self taught history LOVED IT
Very nice guide (her name was Maya) who explained the story very clearly with lots of engagement. She took her times to answer questions, was very respectful to the victims but also joked around a bit when it was appropriate. Overall very nice experience :)
Philippe was great at showing a large group of us all the key sites whilst maintaining an intimacy and respectful delivery.
Jude did an amazing tour of Jack the Ripper. He was very interactive and painted a great picture of what it would have been like to be alive back then and live in the East End. He also turned it into a bit of a mystery by giving us profiles of potential killers and feeding us more clues during the tour to try to figure out who it may be. We'll never know, but it was very fun and informing and sipping a pint throughout the tour didn't hurt either!
We took the Jack the Ripper historical tour hosted by Sandra. It was an amazing experience – she was delightful and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!
Oh, my god. I had so much fun. Sandra was a great guide, she really knows the trade and has done and incredible research. Also, very well explained, very entertaining and very funny.
